Frequently Asked Questions

You are a guest at our home.  Please be respectful of our property.  Don't leave garbage on the floor. Treat things like you would at your own home.  

Don't walk into buildings or climb on equipment. We are a working farm and our equipment has a lot of sharp edges.  

Dress for the weather in old clothes.  Wear appropriate footwear for uneven surfaces.  Some examples are:  Hat - sunscreen - bug spray - jacket - umbrella - boots - closed toe shoes.  

Remember if you didn't get dirty you didn't have enough fun!

It is hotter in the field than you think!!  Please stay hydrated.  We will have cold water for sale in the Market Shed.

• Water!!
• Wagon or stroller for those with short legs.  Strollers with large wheels work best on uneven surfaces.
• Lunch & a blanket for a picnic
• Camera
• No need to bring containers for picking,  You pick into the containers you take home.
• Wear old clothes and appropriate footwear for uneven surfaces.
• Please leave pets at home - we can not allow them in the field.

We only spray fruit if it is needed to save the plants.  This means you will find more weeds and bugs in our field than other fields.  You can ask in the Market Shed if a specific fruit has been sprayed.

• Check in at the Red Market Shed.
• Pay for the people in your group & containers
• Walk to the designated area & fill your containers.
• Have lots of fun & make great memories!

We do not have u-pick pumpkins.  Pumpkins are all pre picked and priced on tables for your convenience.

We do not have apple picking.  Our seasonal fruits are strawberries, red raspberries, blackberries, aronia and concord grapes.
